HITCO is also involved in a range of farming activities. This is in consonance with its strategy on diversification. Currently, we have a farm that is about one hundred and twenty (120) acres, located in Masaiti District, within the Copperbelt Province of Zambia.

HITCO is involved in Livestock farming of cows, goats and sheep/ram. In the near future, we intend to introduce camels to Zambia. We have been doing cross-breeding of the local Zambian breeds with the South African breeds, with the intent of having the Boer goat breed which is more heavier, produces more meat and milk. By the year 2020, we want to have a full breed of the Boer goat.
